Simon the sorcerer

Live footage taken in La Cigale in Paris on the first tour in 2006, this was my third or fourth gig ever.  It was a weird but amazing gig, actually the whole tour was pretty interesting, as it was my first and with the friends in I’m from Barcelona and Samuraj Cities.

At the end of the gig (not seen here) the scene workers actually pulled the plug so I had no electricity in the end but thanks to I’m from Barcelona, who played before me, the audience was so hyped up and just didn’t want to call it a night I got to play some more songs.

I also made some demo’s (using tape, some pen and some CDR’s) and sold  after the show. I put some weird noises and some Toto on some of the CD’s, Just for a laugh, which I thought was funny until I got to know some boss from EMI bought one. Well I’m not signed so I guess he got Toto otherwise I guess I really do suck.

At this tour Martin Alfredsson (I’m from Barcelona/Circuit Pole/Monostrip) stepped in and played guitar (played by Simon Ekstrand on recordings), and he did a good job too.

“Simon the sorcerer” song was written on Christmas eve 2005 in conjunction with Simon Ekstrand (Du Pacque).
