It’s a new film called Revenge of the Nerds.
It’s about a group of nerd college students…
who are being picked on all the time by the jocks.
So they decide to take revenge.

So what you’re saying is you identify with those nerds?

Yes, I consider myself a nerd…
and this movie has uplifted me.
There’s this one scene where a nerd grabs the microphone during a pep rally…
and announces that he is a nerd and that he is proud of it…
and stands up for the rights of other nerds.

Right on.

Then he asks all the kids at the pep rally…
who think they are nerds, to come forward.
So nearly everyone in the place does.
That’s the way the movie ends.

So the nerds won?

Yes.

All right!
You know, you got this movie, and I’m getting hitched.
We both had a good month.

Right.

One of my favourite novels has been made into a movie and today the trailer was released. Looks pretty good. Exited!

The novel was written in 2005 by Jonathan Safran Foer. The book’s narrator is a nine-year-old boy named Oskar Schell. Two years before the story begins, Oskar’s father dies on 9/11. In the story, Oskar discovers a key in a vase that belonged to his father that inspires him to search all around New York for information about the key.

Oh my god, my friends are a lot cooler, sexier and rougher than me. Erik Liss and the photographer Axel Lindahl made Packet look hot, a bit steam punk and handed them some guns with dildo’s mounted on them. What’s not to love?

Watch I’m from Barcelona plus the orchestra perform Gunhild. Jonas Nydesjö talk a little about the project. Emanuel got a lot more people in his band and now he got a Sinfonietta too. It’s not fair! Or maybe it is… Oh well. Gunhild performed by an orchestra, a tape recorder and a punk choir. What’s not to like about it?

I’m from Barcelona, More Is More (Andy)

Epic video of I’m from Barcelola and Jönköping’s Sinfonietta filmed by Mats and Olle.

Some weekends ago I was in Jönköping where I lived at up until I left for Stockholm, it’s also the town where I once upon a time met my dear friends I’m from Barcelona. After a really confused trip to Jönköping I was thrown behind a camera and instructed by this guy Olle not to touch anything. That’s instructions I can handle. Mats checked up on me and saw to it that nothing went wrong. And then this really good collision between Jönköping’s punk choir and Jönköping’s sinfonietta took place in front of the cameras lense. It was AWESOME.

After that we had a after party and I woke up in a sofa with memories of Johan and Mary-Anne from Malmö Operan doing “Scenes from a marriage” Ricki Lake stylee. I also remember grabbing the excellent arranger and conductor Jonas Nydesjö’s butt. I guess it was the best way I could think of to show my gratification. I’m really smart.
